  • The OnTrack version, shown in the app's Settings
  • What you did just before the problem
  • A screenshot, if you can

Common questions

Is OnTrack on iPhone and Android?

Both, soon. OnTrack is coming to the App Store for iPhone, with an Apple Watch app, and to Google Play for Android. We'll link to both stores from the OnTrack page as soon as they're live.

Do I need an account?

No. OnTrack works without an account or sign-in. Your workouts are stored on your phone, and we never receive them.

Is OnTrack free?

Yes. Logging workouts, up to 10 templates, history, personal records, backups and Health Connect are free, with no ads. OnTrack Pro is optional and adds more tools and insights: choose a yearly plan, with a free trial, or pay once for lifetime.

What does OnTrack Pro add?

Unlimited templates, advanced stats and charts, the plate calculator and interval timer, progress photos and tape measurements, heart-rate zones, custom circuits, and RPE, drop sets, sets to failure and form-check videos.

I bought Pro. How do I get it on a new phone?

Pro belongs to the Google account you bought it with. Sign in to Google Play with that account, then open Settings → OnTrack Pro → Restore purchase.

How do I cancel the yearly plan?

In the Play Store, open your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → OnTrack Pro, or tap Manage subscription in OnTrack's Settings → OnTrack Pro. Pro stays unlocked until the end of the year you paid for.

How do I move my data to a new phone?

On iPhone, OnTrack backs up to your iCloud Drive automatically when iCloud Drive is on. Install OnTrack on your new iPhone and it offers to restore that backup the first time you open it.

On Android, turn on Back up to Google Drive in OnTrack's Settings, then install OnTrack on your new phone and restore from that backup. Android's own device backup also restores OnTrack when you set up a new Android phone, except for progress photos.

Can I switch between iPhone and Android?

Yes. Both apps read the same backup file, ontrack-backup.json.

From Android to iPhone: turn on Back up to Google Drive on your Android phone. Then on your iPhone, open OnTrack's Settings → Import Full Backup and choose that file from Google Drive.

From iPhone to Android: on your Android phone, sign in at icloud.com/iclouddrive, open the OnTrack folder and download ontrack-backup.json. Choose it when OnTrack asks if you're coming from another phone, or later in Settings → Import backup or shared workout.

Progress photos aren't included in backup files, so they stay on the phone they were taken on.

Can I export my workouts?

Yes. OnTrack exports your history to a CSV file you can open in a spreadsheet, and it can import CSV files from other workout apps.

Which heart-rate monitors work?

On iPhone, an Apple Watch, AirPods Pro 3, or a Bluetooth heart-rate strap paired with your iPhone. AirPods and straps without a watch need iOS 26 or later.

On Android, any Bluetooth heart-rate monitor that broadcasts heart rate: a chest strap, a Garmin watch with Broadcast Heart Rate turned on, or a Pixel Watch with heart-rate sharing turned on.

Does OnTrack work with Apple Watch?

Yes. OnTrack for iPhone comes with an Apple Watch app. It shows the workout running on your iPhone, lets you check off sets and adjust weight and reps with the Digital Crown, and records your heart rate during workouts and circuits.

Does OnTrack work with Apple Health or Health Connect?

Yes, if you turn it on. On iPhone, OnTrack can save workouts, heart rate, weight and body fat to Apple Health, and bring in your weight and body fat. On Android, it can save workouts, heart rate, weight and body fat to Health Connect, and bring in weight and body fat from your other apps.

How do I delete my data?

Delete any workout, measurement or photo in the app, or uninstall OnTrack to erase everything on that phone. To remove backups too, delete the OnTrack folder in your iCloud Drive or Google Drive. We never receive your data, so nothing is stored on our side.
